The dynamic behavior of the electrical grid may lead to electrical failures or damage equipment reliability and performance. As it is often difficult to pinpoint the root cause failure at the collector or grid level, wind farm owners lose revenues through recurrent fault events, downtime and replacement cost. it is even impossible when the SCADA does not record critical information about the electrical failure.

Our Solution
It consist of documenting ans analyzing transient and steady state behavior of critical equipment with their interaction with the collector system through probabilistic analysis. Our approach mainly consist of :

  1. Building a mathematical model of the wind farm using a transient simulation software
  2. Validating the accuracy of the model by reproducing the fault dynamics
  3. Analyzing fault response in accordance with the equipment safe operation or utility grid.
  4. Performing over 10,000 simulated scenarios to provide optimal solution through advanced statistical analysis.
